Frequent Questions

There’s a lot to know about dreadlocks.  The answers are all in “Dreadlock Secrets Revealed.”  However, there are occasionally questions people have about the site, or about related things that aren’t necessarily covered in the book and videos.  So here are some Frequently Asked Questions and answers.  If you still have another question after reading through these, feel free to contact me via the contact page.

Q. How do I get a copy of “Dreadlock Secrets Revealed”?

A. You just sign up on the home page or by clicking here (this is link to home page).  Then you order it by clicking the button that says “Get Dreadlocks now!”

Q. Isn’t it hard to put in Dreadlocks?

A. It’s easy enough to do yourself.  It takes a few hours, but it isn’t difficult.  The easiest way, obviously, is to have a professional do it for you.  Although this way can be extremely expensive.  Next easiest is to have a friend do it with you, then you do theirs and they do yours.  But it absolutely can be done by yourself, with the information you’ll get in “Dreadlock Secrets Revealed.”

Q.  I heard that dreadlocks smell and get bugs in them, that’s why I haven’t done it.  Is that true?

A.  Absolutely not!  Hygiene is a personal thing.  There are people with poor hygiene and people with good hygiene.  A dirty person with dreadlocks will likely have dirty dreads.  You are expected to keep your dreadlocks clean, and use hair products that will keep your dreads and scalp healthy.  Dreadlocks look MUCH nicer the better you take care of them.  All the specifics about cleaning and maintaining healthy dreadlocks you’ll find in “Dreadlock Secrets Revealed”.

Q. Is it true that dreadlocks have to be cut entirely off if I ever want to get rid of them?

A. No! You can actually remove dreadlocks without cutting off all your hair.  Some people opt to cut off some or most of their dreadlocks, but it actually isn’t necessary.  Instructions for dreadlock removal are in the “Dreadlock Secrets Revealed” book and videos.  So have no fear.
